The ISPL team met with the Honorable Mayor, Chief Executive Officer, Executive Engineer, and other officials from Faridpur Municipality to discuss the implementation of IMIS. Additionally, the team attended the launch of the Pyrolysis Center by Practical Action, a key milestone in Faridpur's Trailblazer program for Polythene & Plastic Waste Management.

As part of the Strengthening of Public Data Systems for Sanitation in Bangladesh (SPDSSB) Programme, managed by AIT Global Water & Sanitation Center, data partner Streams Tech conducted a session on Project Coordination and Orientation on the Implementation of the Public Data System (IMIS application) in Lakshmipur Paurashava on June 8, 2024.

The session brought together officials from the Lives and Livelihoods Fund (LLF) 10 Town Project, Department of Public Health Engineering (DPHE), Bangladesh, and key implementation partners, including Streams Tech, Innovative Solution Pvt. Ltd. (ISPL), and GWSC. Discussions covered the Base IMIS platform, its modules, household survey plans, GIS data collection, and necessary support from both Lakshmipur Paurashava and DPHE for successful implementation.

A special thanks to the honorable Mayor and councilors for their strong commitment to digitalizing sanitation service delivery through IMIS.

ISPL met with Honorable Mayor Md. Anwar Ali and municipal departments in Kushtia Municipality to discuss the implementation of Base IMIS and its integration with existing digital systems. The discussions focused on streamlining municipal services through enhanced digital governance.

ISPL, in collaboration with ENPHO and ITN-BUET, hosted an Interaction and Social Night for delegates from Kushtia, Faridpur, Jhenaidah, Lakhhipur, and Sakhipur during their Mentor City visit to Nepal. This event fostered knowledge exchange while advancing efforts to enhance public data systems and implement the Integrated Municipal Information System (IMIS) in Bangladesh.
